Welcome to the website of the research group FEMRG. Finite Element Modelling Research Group is a sub-division of Laboratorium Soete, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Ghent University.
We are specialized in Finite Element Research and provide services to industries. We have a wide range of experiences in applying FEA to different disciplines and complex analysis and structures. Our research concentrates on modelling contact problems, fatigue crack initiation and propagation, and the phenomena of fretting fatigue and fretting wear.
